Shipping policy

At Desert to Ocean, we know you're excited to receive your order, so we aim to dispatch all in-stock orders as quickly as possible.

Every item is carefully inspected prior to dispatch and thoughtfully packaged to ensure it arrives in excellent condition.

Order Processing

Orders are typically dispatched within 1 business day, and often on the same business day when placed before our daily dispatch cut-off.

Please allow 1–2 business days for order processing during busy periods, public holidays and promotional or sale events.

All orders are subject to payment verification, quality control and packaging prior to dispatch.

Australian Shipping

Except for eligible local deliveries described below, Australian orders are shipped via Australia Post.

Standard Shipping: Approximately 5–14 business days
Express Shipping: Delivery estimates are provided by Australia Post and may vary depending on your location.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information.

Signature on Delivery

To help protect higher-value purchases, some orders may be sent with Signature on Delivery at our discretion (PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers excepted).

If you choose to provide Authority to Leave instructions, your parcel may be left unattended by Australia Post. Once delivery has been completed in accordance with your Authority to Leave instructions, Desert to Ocean cannot accept responsibility for any loss, theft or damage that occurs after delivery has been completed.

Local Delivery - Busselton Area

Complimentary local delivery is available on orders of $150 or more to addresses within 12 km of Busselton CBD.

Eligible customers will see Local Delivery as an option at checkout after entering their delivery address. Local orders are delivered directly by Desert to Ocean, and delivery timing will be confirmed by email after purchase.

Local collection is not currently available. Orders outside the eligible delivery area will be shipped using the selected Australia Post service.

International Shipping

International orders are shipped via Australia Post International Standard.

Estimated delivery times are generally 12–28 business days, however delivery timeframes may vary depending on your destination, customs processing and local postal services.

International Shipping Rates

Flat-rate international shipping is available for orders weighing up to 2.5kg.

If your order exceeds 2.5kg, a shipping option may not be available during checkout. Please contact us at hello@deserttoocean.com and we'll be happy to provide a personalised shipping quotation based on your destination and parcel weight.

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship internationally to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers.

Customs Processing

Once an international parcel arrives in the destination country, customs clearance and processing by the local postal service are outside of our control. These processes may occasionally extend delivery times beyond the estimated delivery timeframe.

Please note: Shipping charges are calculated based on the total weight of your order after packaging has been added. If your order exceeds our standard international shipping weight limit of 2.5kg, we'll happily provide a personalised shipping quote.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email containing your tracking number so you can follow your parcel's journey.

If you cannot locate your tracking email, please check your junk or spam folder before contacting us at hello@deserttoocean.com and we'll happily resend your tracking details.

Lost or Delayed Parcels

If your parcel has not arrived within the expected delivery timeframe, please contact us as soon as possible.

We'll work directly with Australia Post to investigate the shipment and assist you throughout the process.

While we cannot guarantee Australia Post delivery timeframes or delays caused by customs authorities or local postal services, we'll do everything reasonably possible to help resolve any delivery issues.

Customs Duties & Taxes

We aim to make international shopping as simple and transparent as possible.

For international orders, applicable customs duties, import taxes and associated fees are calculated through Zonos and included in your order total at checkout.

International shipping is charged separately, with the shipping cost displayed before you complete your purchase.

International orders sent using Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) shipping have their applicable customs duties and import taxes prepaid, so customers are not required to pay these charges again upon delivery.

Refused or Returned International Shipments

If an international order is refused, unclaimed or returned to Desert to Ocean due to customs-related issues, any original outbound shipping costs, return shipping charges and non-recoverable fees incurred by Desert to Ocean may be deducted from your refund, where permitted by applicable law.

Any remaining refund will be processed once the returned items have been received and inspected. This does not affect your rights under applicable consumer laws.
