Shipping policy
At Desert to Ocean our goal is to offer you the best shipping options, no matter where you live, ensuring that we provide you with the best options for shipping your order in a timely and efficient manner. To ensure your order is delivered to you directly, all orders to a street address are sent with signature on delivery (PO Boxes & Parcel Lockers excepted). We advise against giving authority to leave permission as we cannot be held responsible should your items be deemed lost.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Desert to Ocean online orders are usually dispatched within 24 hours, if not the same day.
We inspect every item ordered prior to sending to ensure they are fault free and take great care in packaging your goods safely.
Desert to Ocean postage and handling time frames for order delivery is divided into two parts:
Processing time: Order verification, quality check and packaging. This can take up to 1-2 business days from the order being placed (allow for extra time if purchases were made over a public holiday period or during a Sale event).
Shipping time: This refers to the time it takes for items to be shipped from our premises to the destination.
Australian orders are shipped by Australia Post postal products. After processing and leaving our premises, items usually take between 5 and 14 days to arrive at their destination but can take longer from time to time.
International delivery usually takes 12–28 business days, depending on the destination. All international orders are lodged with Australia Post.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched you will be provided with a tracking number via email so you can track your parcel. If you’ve checked your email folders and are unable to locate your tracking number email please contact us at hello@deserttoocean.com so we can resend it to you.
Do you offer Shipping Insurance?
Yes, Desert to Ocean offers shipping insurance options with all parcels valued over $100 AUD. Shipping Insurance can be selected in the Cart Shipping options before checking out. We strongly recommend selecting the insurance option for all orders over $100 AUD in Value.
In the unfortunate event that your items are damaged/lost in transit through Australia Post, we recommend for all purchases above $100 AUD in value, that our customers choose the shipping plus insurance option when finalising purchases on our website.
All complaints are to be forwarded directly to Australia Post. In this event Australia Post will not permit us to lodge a complaint on your behalf this must be done by yourself, the receiver.

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship Internationally to PO Boxes.
PLEASE NOTE: AS AT 26 AUG 2025- TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF DELIVERY TO THE USA AS POSTAGE SERVICES ARE SUSPENDED FOR PARCEL DELIVERY BETWEEN AUSTRALIA AND THE US. We apologise for any inconvenience and we will reinstate delivery to the US once this has been resolved.
Duties and Taxes
All international orders are sent DDU (Delivery Duties Unpaid).
Any applicable duties or taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer. We are unable to check these fees at the time of your purchase.
In the event that the payment of any applicable duties and taxes are refused and the parcel is returned to Desert to Ocean, a return shipping fee of $65 AUD will be deducted from the refund amount.
