So, how do you get there? Well, luckily for us wanderers, Malta's well-connected to the rest of the world. You can catch a direct flight to Malta International Airport from major cities across Europe, including London, Paris, Rome, and Berlin. We were already in Sicily so we decided to take the 1 hour 45 min Ferry from Pozzallo to Valetta using Virtu Ferries, it was stunning coming into port especially at night. Once you arrive, getting around is a breeze thanks to Malta's efficient public transport system. Buses run regularly between major towns and attractions, making it easy to explore the island without breaking the bank. Be sure to download the rideshare app BOLT (Similar to UBER) for quick and easy transport around the island.
Pro tip: Upon arriving in Malta, don't get scammed by the fake taxi drivers, as use licenced taxis or the BOLT app.
